My blog was created to enable me to “journal” online as my husband and I embark on our next life journey. You see, after spending a year traveling through mostly third-world countries on our motorycle, we discovered how much traveling to new places and meeting people of various cultures brings to our lives. And, I decided that I want to write in a way that allows me to share those experiences, and the accompanying photos, with anyone who’s interested (rather than keeping a paper journal and being faced with thousands of unedited photos upon our return as was the case last time around!).
We sold our home and cars, and gave away or donated most of our possessions, and took on building a rig that would become our new “home” for the duration of our travel…or beyond. Now, after almost a year of designing, building and testing this fab new abode, we are heading out…first stop: South America.
